Meiji Techno Microscopes

Meiji Techno Co., Ltd. is the third-largest manufacturer of optical microscopes in Japan. Meiji Techno America is a subsidiary of Meiji Techno Co., Ltd. that distributes Meiji Techno products and offers technical assistance to customers throughout the United States, Canada, and South and Central America. Originally a manufacturer of educational microscopes, Meiji Techno has since extended product lines into the industrial, laboratory, and higher education markets.

Stereo Microscopes

Unlike compound microscopes that give a 2-dimensional flat image, stereo microscopes give the viewer an "erect" (upright and un-reversed) stereoscopic (3-dimensional) image. This is particularly useful for biologists performing dissections, technicians repairing circuit boards, paleontologists cleaning and examining fossils or anyone who needs to work on small objects. Few manufacturers of stereo microscopes can match Meiji's combination of superb optics, rugged dependability, economical pricing and wide range of accessories offered by Meiji Techno's EM Series Stereo Microscopes.

EMF Fixed Body Stereo Microscope Series

Fixed magnification microscopes are perfect when work can be performed in one magni-fication usually low power like 5x, 10x, or 20x. Fixed bodies are the least expensive and are perfect for assembly work, inspec-tion and other low magnification work.

EMT Turret Body Stereo Microscope Series

Turret body microscopes are useful when rough work can be performed in one magni-fication, let's say 10x and then the higher setting for finish and inspection like 20x or 30x. Turret bodies are inexpensive and are also available with a third tube or phototube. Turret binocular and turret trinocular are perfect for assembly work, inspection and other low magnification work.

EMZ Zoom Body Stereo Microscope Series

Zoom body microscopes are the most flexi-ble as their magnification can be changed much like a zoom on a camera and there-fore they can achieve higher magnification than fixed or turrets. Because of their flexi-bility, zoom bodies can be used in every possible field of work from looking at moon rocks to insects and everything else in between. Also available in trinocular models for cameras, the EMZ is Meiji's most popular product line.

RZ Research Stereo Common Main Object. Microscope Series

Two parallel optical paths sharing one com-mon large objective defines the Common Main Objective design and with a wide range of photo accessories and illumination choices, the RZ Series of CMO Microscopes are perfect for high end lab or production work with optional ergonomic head.
